Google earth view of Alsancak, with a pin showing where the church is said to have stood. However, this might not be site, as to the east of this location, there is a blue area which is now a pool (marked with question marks). The size, East-West orientation and shape would fit in with the profile of a major church, still being investigated.

The location traditionally said to be formerly of the Agia Ekaterini church (amongst the trees). Today there stands a mosque-like pavillion hall within the Park. There are two columns, a capital, and a grave stone (?) that are laying around this site, though no evidence these are from the former church or its cemetery.
