The brand new Art-Deco chapel which replaced it in the 1950s. The chapel no longer functions, closed down with the handover of the hospital to Turkish authorities in the 1980s. The church ornamentations were removed to the nearby S. Rosario church.

The congregation and choir of the French Hospital chapel, probably in the early 1940s. Many in this photograph are likely to be members of the Turkish black community of meagre means staying and being cared for by Levantine volunteers. The alms house across from the chapel still stands but has long since stopped functioning.
